It’s hard to believe that the holidays are already behind us and we are well into 2012!  The PTO board is very excited about all of the upcoming events that we are planning.  Be sure to take a look at the calendar so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.

One of the biggest events that the PTO holds every year is our Paw Fest Carnival.  Mark your calendars, because this family fun event will take place on May 12th.  In the past we’ve had carnival games and food, lots of inflatables, face painting, clowns and even pony rides.  This is one event you will not want to miss and we hope to see everyone there.  Of course, none of our events are possible without LOTS of parent volunteers and the Paw Fest is certainly no exception.  See the article in "Latest News" for more information.

Many times parents wonder how the PTO spends the money earned through fundraisers and events, like the Paw Fest.  This year, thanks to the support of our Peine Ridge family, we will be purchasing a mobile computer lab for the school!  This exciting and much needed addition will be available for teachers to reserve for research, reports and much more.  In addition, the PTO is working with a local Eagle Scout to add an outdoor classroom, located behind the school, which will include picnic tables and planting areas for classroom use.  Both of these projects will enhance the educational experience of our children and would not be possible without your support of our PTO!
