Volunteer Oppotunities

This new school year brings many opportunities for parents to get involved with the PTO! We have a variety of events throughout the year where volunteers are needed. Please see the chart below for the specific event, dates, and descriptions.

PTO TRIVIA NIGHT is set and ready to go! The hawaiian-themed event will take place on Friday, October 7th at the banquet facility at Progress Park (near the swimming pool). You are allowed to bring in any food or drink of your choice, and dressing up to fit the theme is highly encouraged - and rewarded! Door prizes are currently being sought after and should be very nice! More information will follow for this event, so check back soon! HOSPITALITY NIGHT at Peine Ridge will be on Wednesday, October 26th. This is a night full of parent-teacher conferences. The PTO helps the teachers and staff for this evening by providing dinner, drinks, and desserts since they are not allowed the leave the school. Food donations will be taken that day, whether it be a bags of chips or a home-made dish. If you are interested in helping with this activity, contact Michelle at mczmowski@gmail.com.

The WINTER EVENT will take place on Friday, December 2nd, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. This is a fast and fun event for the family and for children to get a head start on shopping for gifts. Assistance is needed with all areas including set up, Santa pictures, craft stop, shopping, food, and clean up. Oh, forgot to mention Chris Cakes is the food! If you have committed to becoming a Panther P.A.L.S. member and are wondering what you can do to help you, then you are in the right place. Below you will find a list of our immediate volunteer openings, but if there is something specific that you would like to help with, please contact our volunteer coordinator at

Activity	Date	Description
Movie Night Volunteers	9/30, 11/18, 1/27, 4/20	Sign up to help at any (or all!) of the movie nights. You will help collect tickets, pass out treats and assist in supervising the children.
Fall and Spring Fundraiser Volunteers	TBA	Our PTO will need a team distributing products.
Trivia Night Committee	10/7	Committee will organize an all adult trivia night at school. This team will organize categories, questions, set up & clean up. The night will also include a basket raffle. We will need donations from school families & local businesses.
Winter Event Committee	12/2	Committee is in charge of creating a fun family event in December. It will be responsible for scheduling vendors, crafts and a stop & shop for the kids.
Teacher/ Staff Appreciation Committee	5/7 - 5/11	We need a committee to creatively show our hard working teachers & staff how much we truly appreciate them. This includes support staff day, & Principal day.
Pawfest Carnival Committee	5/12	This committee is responsible for planning, organizing games, entertainment, food & prizes.
